Little birdies...

 You were cute little hatchlings,

Cooing in are arms.

You made our childhood worthwhile,

Keeping us busy with your charms.

Taking baby steps, learning to walk,

Tumbling, falling and getting up.

Blurting out words, learning to talk,

Gurgling, mumbling, trying to speak up.

We almost grew together parallelly,

Owing to proximity of our ages.

Fighting our little battles bravely,

Rebelling and breaking through our cages.

You have been through them all,

Thunder, stormy, hot and rainy days.

And we stood there watching you,

Outgrowing yourselves in many ways.

Babies to children to youngsters,

Now smart, sensitive and fun young men.

Owning your lives, living your terms,

Taking us through happy days now and then.

And now we stand there,

Looking at you again.

Chirping with your new little birdies,

The feeling is insane.

Happiness, pride, disbelief and love,

How do we explain? Words fall short.

May divine blessings be showered from above,

You know always have our support.

So much to wish, so much to say,

May you conquer the explorables.

Strengthening your bonds night and day,

Stay chirpy you crazy adorables.
